James Simpson-Daniel in action for England Saxons against Italy

Simpson-Daniel is highly talented but has struggled with injuryEngland have called up winger James Simpson-Daniel and prop Alex Corbisiero as injury cover ahead of Saturday's game against Italy at Twickenham.

Ten-cap Gloucester wing Simpson-Daniel, 28, is cover for full-back Nick Abendanon, who has a toe injury but remains with the squad for assessment.

The uncapped Corbisiero, 23, comes in for Tim Payne, who has returned to Wasps for treatment on a chest injury.

England opened their 2011 Six Nations account with a 26-19 win away to Wales.
